Daniel R. Salas joined Boss Law Firm, APLC as Of Counsel to the Firm in March 2010. A graduate of the Stanford University School of Law, Mr. Salas has been a real property and commercial litigator in San Diego, California for nearly 35 years. He has previously represented Ticor Title, advising the company whether claims tendered to it were covered by its issued policies and representing its policyholders in litigation. He also previously represented Gateway Title Company in litigation matters.

Unrelated to his litigation practice, Mr. Salas was appointed in 2001 by the Mayor of San Diego to serve as the Latino commissioner on the City's Citizens' Equal Opportunity Commission, an advisory commission of volunteer appointees, which reports to and advises the Mayor and City Council on the effectiveness of and/or need for City programs designed to achieve and maintain diversity in public employment and contracting. Mr. Salas was appointed annually by the Mayor to serve as the Chair of the CEOC for the five-year period 2004 – 2008. He served on the Commission until May, 2010.
