Bobby B. Ashrafi joined Boss Law Firm, APLC in 2010. His litigation practice focuses on real estate litigation, business litigation, foreclosure and lender liability litigation, and insurance defense litigation. He has represented lenders, developers, property owners, title insurance companies, and insureds, in a variety of lawsuits from inception, through discovery and depositions, and trial. Mr. Ashrafi also provides legal counsel to developers on title-related matters and is also retained by title insurers to assist in addressing coverage decisions and in resolving lien, encroachments, easement, and boundary line disputes.
Mr. Ashrafi began his legal career in 2007 as an associate at Latham & Watkins, LLP where he focused on business and real estate litigation as well as on transactional matters in the areas of project finance and real estate acquisitions. Just prior to joining Boss Law Firm, APLC, Mr. Ashrafi volunteered as a Deputy City Attorney in the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office where he conducted seven criminal jury trials in the span of ten months.
Mr. Ashrafi earned his Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of California, Berkeley, and his Juris Doctor, Magna Cum Laude, from Pepperdine University where he received a Dean’s Scholarship, finished near the top 5% of his graduating class, was an active member of Law Review, and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. While attending law school, Mr. Ashrafi worked as judicial extern in the Chambers of the Honorable S. James Otero, Central District of California, and as a Summer Associate at the law firms Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, LLP in New York, and Uria Menendez in Madrid, Spain.
Mr. Ashrafi is fluent in Spanish and Farsi.
